this is what we did in class yesterday:

GROUP 16.30

- We played bamboozle to revise relationships vocabulary

- we checked exercise f page 86

- We did exercise 6 on page 87 (taking notes on different statements and presenting our opinions)

- We watched the videos on pages 88 and 89

- We looked at the vocabulary needed to ask permission and make requests

- We made requests and answered them

How to answer to requests (answering positively)

Could you do me a big favour? Sure/No problem

Would you mind doing me a big favour? Not at all/Of course not

How to give excuses

I'm afraid that won't be possible (+excuse)

I really wish I could, but ......

I'm afraid I can´t help you with that because (+excuse)

HOMEWORK:

- we checked our homework

Dear all, this is what we did yesterday in class: - we checked our homework - we did the pronunciation exercises on page 44 - you did exercise 4a on page 46 - I explained the grammar on page 222 - We played a comparisons game HOMEWORK: - page 222 exercises a and b (for next Tuesday) - worksheet (for next Tuesday) - For next Thursday. Composition. Page 198 exercise e. Imagine you stayed with some British friends in the UK last month. Plan an email to say thank you. Write five paragraphs and a postcript (PS). Include some of the highlighted phrases and use informal language (exercise c) ADDITIONAL HOMEWORK - Comparatives and superlatives 1 - Comparatives and superlatives 2 - Transport - Pronunciation.
