this is what we did yesterday in class:

- we checked our homework: a cloze

- we played a game to activate vocabulary related to sports and means of transport

- we looked at monologues. We brainstormed ideas and then delivered our monologues

- we talked about how we met our partners or bestfriends

- we listened to a story. How a couple met. Page 85 exercise 2b

- I explained USED TO. Grammar on page 227


HOMEWORK: 

- COMPOSITION

4.30 pm group: write the story using your notes as guidelines. Remember to use the language in the information box on page 202 and include some of the connecting words and phrases in c (page 202)

7 pm group: write a story about a journey where something went wrong. Remember to use the language in the information box on page 202 and include some of the connecting words and phrases in c (page 202)

Dear all, this is what we did yesterday in class: - we checked our homework - we did the pronunciation exercises on page 44 - you did exercise 4a on page 46 - I explained the grammar on page 222 - We played a comparisons game HOMEWORK: - page 222 exercises a and b (for next Tuesday) - worksheet (for next Tuesday) - For next Thursday.
