- Class 16.30: we checked our homework. Reading text How to learn effectively

- we did the listening exercise on page 68 and looked at the grammar of reflexive pronouns (exercises e, f and g)

- we did a practice test. Dialogue. Speaking in pairs. A Language course abroad

- We did exercises 1b and c on page 66

- I explained the grammar on page 225

- we talked in pairs. Can you ......? Would you like to be able to ....?

Dear all, this is what we did yesterday in class: - we checked our homework - we did the pronunciation exercises on page 44 - you did exercise 4a on page 46 - I explained the grammar on page 222 - We played a comparisons game HOMEWORK: - page 222 exercises a and b (for next Tuesday) - worksheet (for next Tuesday) - For next Thursday. Composition. Page 198 exercise e. Imagine you stayed with some British friends in the UK last month. Plan an email to say thank you. Write five paragraphs and a postcript (PS). Include some of the highlighted phrases and use informal language (exercise c) ADDITIONAL HOMEWORK - Comparatives and superlatives 1 - Comparatives and superlatives 2 - Transport - Pronunciation. Consonants - check the revise and check pages (34 and 35) with the answer sheet I gave you and bring your doubts to the next classes.
