this is what we did in class yesterday:

- As a whole group, we discussed the statement: people shouldn't eat and drink in the cinema

- Then we listenened to three people giving their opinions about this

- We did exercise 7b on page 65

- We discussed the statements in exercise c page 65 using the structures in exercise 7 b

- We did a listening exercise (exam practice) about Russian and British manners

- We did a mediation (written) exercise in class 

HOMEWORK

- From previous week: an email of complaint page 200 exercise a, b and c. Page 201 exercise d

- New homework: page 257 exercises 4a and d

- Read Roald Dahl's two short stories

NOTICE: 

- Ask me for the rota of your speaking tests to put your names down for them

Dear all, this is what we did yesterday in class: - we checked our homework - we did the pronunciation exercises on page 44 - you did exercise 4a on page 46 - I explained the grammar on page 222 - We played a comparisons game HOMEWORK: - page 222 exercises a and b (for next Tuesday) - worksheet (for next Tuesday) - For next Thursday. Composition. Page 198 exercise e. Imagine you stayed with some British friends in the UK last month. Plan an email to say thank you. Write five paragraphs and a postcript (PS). Include some of the highlighted phrases and use informal language (exercise c) ADDITIONAL HOMEWORK - Comparatives and superlatives 1 - Comparatives and superlatives 2 - Transport - Pronunciation.
